Premo introduces new Kits developed for the Automotive Market
Our Business Development Manager D-A-CH, Jonas Maier, introduces and reviews two of Premo’s latest Kits for the automotive and EV / HEV market.
In this case, presented The OBC Power Kit including a wide range of high-quality magnetics specially designed for the onboard battery chargers and the DCDC Power Kit which is compounded by inductive components specially designed to convert high voltage levels to low voltage for different parts of the vehicle such as GPS, lamps, and air conditioners.
> The OBC Kit contains high-performance materials, AEC-Q200 fully qualified, providing the best efficiency, high-temperature stability, and reinforced insulation.
We find at this Kit EMI AC input filter common mode chokes, PFC Chokes, transformer, and associated resonant chokes, flyback auxiliary transformers, gate-drive transformers for power switching semiconductors control, and PLC transformers for communication between the charger and the charging point or to the smart grid. > The DC-DC power kit moreover is fill in with DC-DC power modules used to supply energy to all the electronic devices present in the vehicle. Being able to convert the high voltage from the batteries (200-450V) to the 12V to 14V low voltage (10-16V in the extended range), or from 48Vdc to 12-14Vdc.
