During these 3 months, PREMO Cobot Summer Campus students will take on an in-depth journey across all phases of their project development. Led by top robotics experts at PREMO, students will be challenged to come up with creative solutions to develop a real robotic demonstrator.

For the Robotic Summer Campus, which will take place over a period of 3 months (July, August and September), we have defined 2 profiles:
Students about to finish Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering and Electronics Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics Degrees with End of Degree Project pending completion.
Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering and Electronics Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics Degrees with End of Degree Project pending completion with more than 2 pending subjects.

Inspiring the next generation of Robotic Engineers.
End of Degree Project 1
Operating authorization system for robotics demostrator. The system must read a business card or QR code, process the person’s contact details and upload them via API to the cloud (Salesforce). Once the person has been validated, it must give an OK authorisation signal to a robotic system to start a process sequence. Software programming of the system.

Hardware design of an authorization system for robotic demostrator -> Hardware design of the system explained in Software Beer Project.
End of Degree Project 3
Programming a robot for customized coffee dispensing. By programming coordinates/loops. The robotic system must handle the cup to reach the coffee machine and dispense the chosen coffee.

Hardware design of a robotic coffee dispensing system (robot+coffee machine+controller)

Coffee machine dispensing control -> Quality control of coffee dispensing by artificial vision. Dispensing quality control by machine vision.

Coaster 3D design

Design and manufacture of a Premo branded coaster for promotion. 3D design of the coaster using high thermal conductivity composite developed in-house. Design of the injection mold. Quality control.
