The first outstanding project that José Francisco Cabezas will drive in Málaga will be the industrial development of power technology for the Technological Automotive Center which Premo Group locates in the PTA (Technological Park of Andalucía). The industrial engineering staff is made up of 15 engineers with great experience in the automotive sector and developing new processes. PREMO team will be involved projects for the manufacture of inductive components used in hybrid and electrical vehicles power conversion.
Premo group has a technological development center with an investment budget over 25 million Euros. That´s the way PREMO reacts to the sector crisis; betting on I+D+i in electronic systems for hybrid and electrical vehicles. These technologies will have a great growth in the next years due to the reduction in fuel consumption and emissions of CO2, which is driving its implantation in Japan, the United States and, Europe.
Premo has in its catalogue new planar transformers, chokes and current sensors prototypes specially designed for this kind of applications. The great electrical characteristics and high efficiency of these products improve the current conventional market developments, specially in terms of thermal efficiency and low losses. PREMO product range for automotive power electronics exceeds all the existing developments. These components will be part of the DC/DC converters, which are used to transfer energy from the batteries to the electrical motors and vice versa.
Premo Group, with experience of more than 45 years, is the main Spanish inductive components manufacturer, one of three main Spanish electronic components exporters and it is a world leader in low frequency RFID antennas. The company is present in the main markets of NAFTA, Europe and Asian and Pacific, being China, Japan and Korea the first, exporting the 70 pc of their turnover.
