New partnership with Microelit

Premo has signed with MicroElit, a representation and distribution contract at the end of December, becoming its new main distributor in Italy. With this agreement, the Spanish company expects to increase its sales volume in this country up to 300.000 euros. Premo currently sells a wide range of products in Italy, including sectors like renewable energies, railways, medical and industrial equipments and automotive, specially, hybrid vehicles. Hybrids vehicles, which are expected to growth in the future due to electric motor efficiency improvements, consumption and CO2 emissions reduction, are gaining popularity in countries like Japan, United States and Europe.

Premo forecast to improve its situation in the Italian market, cooperating with this company which has more than 30 years of experience and supplies components from   Europe, North America, and East countries; its products catalogue includes RFID, automotive, avionics, telecommunications and other sectors.

This agreement with Microelit makes Premo to promote its position in the Italian market thanks to Microelit leadership in the country, and which has an added growth of 20% the last six years. The 2009 forecast of Microelit is to increase its sales in 2 million euros with regard to last year. Microelit has a specialized application engineer staff which has worked for important Premo competitors and which suppose an optimum product and market knowledge. This strengthening of the PREMO sales network will help to ensure the continuous growing of PREMO worldwide.
