PREMO works with RFID technology since 1992 when it‘s started to manufacture RFID low frequency antennas for 125kHz Tags. 200 millions of RFID antennas had been manufactured until today, mainly for the automotive sector in the plant that the company has in P.T.A., in Malaga.
The experience and knowledge acquired by PREMO RFID in identification by Radio Frequency market boosted the developed of identification technologies based on the last nanomethrics techniques, made by I+D department. As a result of research, the nanoTags had been developed, and they were presented soon. They were based on nanometric performance and don’t use ICs to make the code. It’s called chipless technology.
With this new technology, it’s possible to test different objects like documents, fabrics, materials any object that have to be validate for her use or sale. Mainly, this plan pretends to identity with low cost. PREMO search for the identity or testing components developed with its customers for include them in the market with minimal cost.
Chipless components can support extremely pressure and atmospheric conditions during the joint with their element. In that way, they are the best for pieces that have to be testing in the beginning like metallic pieces, marble and plastic.
This initiative wants to place PREMO as a global model in identity and testing using advanced technology. In the next months, it will present new products based on nanoTags.
PREMO has more of 45 years of experience. It’s the main manufacturer inductives by invoicing in Spain, one of the three most important Spanish exporters of electrical components and global leader in RFID low frequency antennas. The company is in the most important NAFTA, Europe, Asian and Pacific area markets, with China, Japan and Korea in the first places; because they export 70% of the whole market. Premo employs more than 500 workers all over the world, 40 of them are engineers do I+D+i.
