PREMO Group has successfully introduced helical winding into our technology portfolio for the design and manufacturing of high-efficiency chokes for solar and wind power electronic inverters. This technology has been traditionally used in other applications, such as welding but has also been proved to be suitable for designing chokes in renewable energies power conversion applications.
By means of reducing choke’s RDC and RAC, as well as increasing the resonant frequency, this helical winding technology allows Premo to offer accurate and efficient designs.
The choke is designed with ferrite core and distributed air gap which allows excellent efficiency for the whole power range (5%, 50% and 100%)
