New aftermarket emitter antenna family for passive keyless entry

foto de la noticia

PREMO has developed a new emitter antenna series, the KGEA-BFCAM, for passive keyless entry system for automotive application.

This new low profile emitter antenna has been designed to assembly for aftermarket operations. A combination of low and high frequency system allow to reduce power consumption and no more worries of key lost and locking the key in the car; this mean a big revolution coming from a small device.

Main characteristics:

  • Low frequency operation (120-150kHz).
  • High stability in temperature (-40ºC up to +85ºC).
  • Ideally used in Passive keyless-go systems.
  • Connector located outside assembly housing plastic base.
  • Low tolerances in the resonance frequency LC (5% typical, 2% or less under demand) .
  • Long reading distances and average current 2-4App.
  • Custom LC values under demand.

Housing plastic base Polyamide (PA66) and potted with polyurethane resin assure extreme conditions operation (high humidity, dust, liquids, etc,) meeting IP67 requirements.

The KGEA-BFCAM can be provide with a cable customized length and connector in its standard version (other connectors can be assembly under demand).

Several combinations of inductance and capacitor values are offered as standard versions. Any other combination can be provided, and customized designs, depending mainly of capacitor size available.

Antenna concept is similar to those KGEA-BFC series, but smaller in size (ferrite+capacitor in a box potted) and easy to joint to anywhere by a simple adhesive tape.

PREMO is a leading company in designing, manufacturing and marketing custom designed and inductive components for electronic market. Its product range includes RFID antennas, EMC filters, accessories and PLC components, planar transformers, power supplies, transformers, current transducers, chokes for automotive, renewable energies and railway, among other markets. http://www.grupopremo.com
